New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday urged public sector banks (PSBs) to launch a month-long "Banking for Youth" campaign from October 2 focusing on youngsters above 16 years of age. "A focused campaign is something which is required in banking for the youth. India has one of the world's youngest populations. Our young people will increasingly shape the country's patterns of consumption, savings, investment, entrepreneurship and wealth creation," she said in her closing remarks at the two-day PSB Confluence.
