India, May 16 -- A massive fire broke out at a furniture market in Shahberi, Greater Noida, late on Friday , engulfing multiple shops, officials said. At least ten fire tenders were pressed into service to control the blaze, which spread rapidly due to highly inflammable material stored inside the shops. No casualties were reported in the incident till the time of going to print. The Shahberi furniture market, located along the Crossings Republik road, houses a large cluster of furniture warehouses and shops. Videos of the incident circulated on social media showed massive flames and thick plumes of smoke engulfing large sections of the market.
