FIR FILED OVER attack ON MCD staff CAPTURING DOGS IN ROHINI
NEW DELHI, Aug. 20 -- A group of dog lovers allegedly assaulted Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) staff and damaged their vehicle on Monday afternoon when officials tried to capture a stray dog at Government Sarvodaya School in Rohini Sector 16, police said.
A PCR call was received at 2.42pm about a scuffle between unidentified persons and MCD's veterinary team at F Block.
"The officials had gone to catch a stray dog when residents stopped them, forced release of the animal, assaulted staff, and broke the vehicle," a senior officer said.
An FIR was filed on Dr Ravish Kasana's complaint at KNK Marg police station.
