India, Sept. 15 -- Police have registered an FIR against Aundh-based IT firm Creative Web Solutions and six others for allegedly collecting money from employees on the promise of jobs and salaries, with around 38 employees claiming they were cheated of Rs.75.13 lakh.

The FIR was registered at Chaturshringi police station on Saturday against chief executive officer (CEO) Ankush Wankhede, managing director (MD) Tejashree Khatal, human resources (HR) official Prasanna Ambekar, Sagar Shelar, Manasi Shelar and others.

According to the complaint filed by Archana Indulkar, 39, of Phursungi, who holds a Master of Computer Science degree, the alleged fraud took place between May 5 and September 12. Around 38 employees have approached the police,...
