India, March 29 -- Fernando Mendoza's close-knit family has been a consistent support throughout his career. After an impressive 2025 season, the Indiana Hoosiers quarterback announced his decision to enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

Mendoza transferred from California (Cal) to Indiana before the 2025 season. He completed 72% of his passes for 3,535 yards, 41 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions while helping lead the Hoosiers to a 16-0 record and the program's first national championship. He won the Heisman Trophy.
