Ex- TN minister among 500 new TVK entrants
CHENNAI, June 21 -- Former Tamil Nadu minister Gomathi Srinivasan, who served in the cabinet of late All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) supremo MG Ramachandran, was on Saturday among 500 new entrants into the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK).
Party general secretary and state minister Aadhava Arjuna said that in addition to Srinivasan, veteran film director and senior AIADMK leader RB Udhayakumar, former AIADMK legislator MGM Subramaniam and current party chief's Edappadi K Palaniswami's niece Maneka Balakrishnan along with her supporters, also joined the TVK. Senior AIADMK leader IC Sekar was another new entrant to the TVK.
The induction ceremony was held at the TVK's party office at Panaiyur near Chennai.
