New Delhi, March 20 -- The environmental compensation (EC) fines collected by the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) will be utilised to fund the rejuvenation of water bodies in the national capital, the body has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT) in a report dated March 18.

The NGT had earlier directed the DPCC to devise an action plan for rejuvenating water bodies across the capital in consultation with the state wetland authority.
