New Delhi, Feb. 24 -- The Election Commission has upgraded its Observer Management System (OMS), the core digital platform used for empanelling and deploying Central Observers, ahead of the Assembly elections in four states and one Union Territory.
A senior EC official said: "The migration to the upgraded platform revealed technical discrepancies in legacy data...To address this, the Commission initiated a comprehensive verification exercise."
