India, Nov. 9 -- Earthquake measuring 6.07 strikes India's Andaman Islands on Sunday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6 miles), GFZ said.

The earthquake hit the island at around 12:06pm (IST) with the epicenter at a 90 km, National Center for Seismology said.
