India, Sept. 17 -- External affairs minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and Bhutanese foreign minister DN Dhungyel on Wednesday reviewed bilateral ties and laid the foundation stone for a 500-KW hydropower project in northern Bhutan. "Our conversation focused on advancing our multifaceted engagement in development partnership, energy, trade, connectivity, culture and people to people ties," Jaishankar said on social media. The EAM is visiting Bhutan during September 16-17 for talks with his counterpart and to meet Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay and King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the MEA said.
