Duleep Trophy: Khajuria, Sindhu keep North ahead
MUMBAI, Sept. 7 -- After claiming a five-wicket haul, young all-rounder Nishant Sindhu hit a fine 82 and opener Shubam Khajuria scored an unbeaten 128 to help North Zone stay alive in their Duleep Trophy semi-final being played at BCCI's Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
In their pursuit of South Zone's first innings 536, it was hard work for North. After a tough start, Khajuria and Sindhu, the 21-year-old from Haryana, shared a 171-run fourth-wicket partnership as North ended Day 3 at 278/5. Going into the final day, South still hold the advantage with a lead of 258 runs.
