India, June 27 -- The University of Delhi (DU) has begun live testing of its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal and is likely to launch it within a day or two, starting admissions for undergraduate courses for the academic session 2026-27 across over 70 affiliated colleges, Haneet Gandhi, Deputy Dean of Admissions, DU told HT.

"We are in the final stage of opening the portal. We have received more than double the number of applications compared to last time and want to ensure everything runs smoothly from the outset," said Gandhi.
