India, Aug. 24 -- To fill remaining seats in the final phase of the admission process, Delhi University has allowed nine more colleges to fill vacant undergraduate seats based on applicants' Class 12 marks instead of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores.

The vacant seats are primarily in language-related Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes, including BA (Hons) Sanskrit and BA (Hons) Hindi, as well as BSc (Hons) Mathematics.

"In continuation to the public notice dated August 21, 2026, admissions in a few more colleges have been started on the basis of merit of Class 12 marks, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria," the university stated in a notice on Sunday.
