India, June 5 -- The enforcement wing of department of town and country planning (DTCP) on Thursday launched an anti-encroachment drive to clear public roads in U Block of DLF Phase-3, officials said.

According to officials, the four enforcement teams decongested 24 lanes in the colony and removed encroachments present in front of around 800 houses.

Amit Madholia, district town planner, enforcement, said, "Various structures built outside houses, including illegal ramps, extensions, staircases, grills, unauthorised signboards, were demolished.
