India, April 2 -- Parents of several students of Delhi Public School, Dwarka, held a protest outside the school gate on Wednesday, demanding the revocation of an order striking their wards' names from the rolls for non-clearance of outstanding dues.
"Despite the interim order passed by the Hon'ble High Court, the outstanding fees of your ward remain unpaid. Accordingly, the name of the ward has been struck off from the school rolls with effect from 07.04.2026, in accordance with Rule 35 of the Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973," read the school's notice sent to the parent and seen by HT.
Parents said 25 students received the notice and alleged that the fee hike has "not been approved by DoE", and "violates" the Delhi High Court...
