India, May 28 -- The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Wednesday cancelled the anticipatory bail granted to retired judge Giribala Singh in connection with the alleged dowry death and harassment of model and actor Twisha Sharma. The hearing lasted nearly three hours before the single bench of justice Devanarayan Mishra. The High Court heard petitions filed by the state government and Twisha's father challenging the anticipatory bail granted to Singh, her mother-in-law. CBI also filed an intervention application opposing bail. Advocate general Prashant Singh, representing the state government, said Giribala violated bail conditions. "She didn't appear on the dates on which notices were issued to record her statement," she said.htc
