Hyderabad, June 10 -- The authorities at the King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday identified three bodies of the victims of the accident at the Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL), also known as Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Monday evening, while DNA samples of the remaining five are being analysed to ascertain identities. KGH superintendent Dr I Vani told reporters that the bodies were charred beyond recognition, necessitating DNA analysis. "Samples have been collected and sent to a forensic laboratory in Vijayawada. The mortal remains will be handed over to the respective families after the identification process is completed," she said.
