India, Sept. 16 -- Tamil Nadu Police has booked leaders of the opposition Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), including party deputy general secretary and former Union minister A Raja, and former state minister P K Sekar Babu, over alleged derogatory remarks against chief minister Vijay and his cabinet colleague CTR Nimal Kumar during a recent party event, officials said on Tuesday. A case against DMK MLA Vasantham Karthikeyan over his comments against the chief minister was also filed by Kallakurichi police. DMK slammed the move. Party spokesperson TKS Elangovan said, "As an opposition party we have the right to criticise the ruling party for their mistakes. This government is only working against DMK."htc
