India, Sept. 20 -- The father of deceased celebrity manager Disha Salian on Saturday served a Rs.500-crore defamation notice to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray at the gates of Matoshree, the residence of party chief Uddhav Thackeray, over his allegation of a "political conspiracy" behind Salian's bid to reopen his daughter's death case.

Satish Salian arrived around 4 pm with his legal team, led by advocate Nilesh Ojha, amid heavy police presence and a large media contingent in Bandra East's Kalanagar. Aaditya's lawyers, Rahul Diwate and Anil Jadhav, accepted the notice.
