India, April 3 -- The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has warned field officials against any lapses in using the Complaint Handling System (CHS) mobile application, after an internal audit brought to light that consumers were not receiving prior alert of scheduled outages or maintenance work as information about them were not being fed into it, officials said on Thursday.

The official said DHBVN managing director Vikram Singh has issued directions for strict compliance and the use of the CHS to ensure that all information is sent to consumers in a timely manner.
