Rohtak, May 27 -- Convicted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was released from Sunaria Jail in Haryana's Rohtak on Tuesday morning after being granted a 30-day parole, marking his 16th temporary exit since his incarceration began in 2017.

Jail officials confirmed that Ram Rahim walked out of the high-security facility amid tight security at 6.30am. Under his strict parole conditions, he proceeded to the sect's headquarters in Sirsa, where he will stay during the release period.
