Delhi police to probe violence against police in CJP protest, 11 FIRs filed so far
India, July 24 -- Two specialised investigation units of Delhi Police -- special cell and crime branch - will probe the cases filed in connection with the alleged violence against security personnel during the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protests in central Delhi, two senior police officers familiar with the development said on Thursday.
Officers said at least 129 personnel have been injured since a march was taken out on July 20; at least 11 police officers were injured on Wednesday alone.
