India, Aug. 14 -- India is all set to mark the 80th Independence Day on Saturday, August 15. While celebrations will take place all over the country, special focus will remain on Delhi, the national capital, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his customary address from Red Fort, and a majestic parade will also take place.

Keeping in mind the rush for this parade, Delhi Metro services will begin at 4am from all terminals on August 15. This is to facilitate all the special invitees and the general public attending the ceremony at the Red Fort, said DMRCin an X post this Thursday.

Trains will run at a 30-minute frequency from 4am on all lines until regular revenue services resume.
