India, Aug. 29 -- Metro services on a key stretch of the Yellow Line, between Vishwavidyalaya and Central Secretariat, were disrupted on Friday morning during peak office and school hours, inconveniencing thousands of commuters.
Trains were running with significant delays on the affected section, though services remained normal across the rest of the network, PTI reported, citing officials.
Passengers complained that travel from Vishwavidyalaya to GTB Nagar, normally a matter of minutes, stretched to nearly 50 minutes due to the disruption. Many said the delays left them struggling to reach offices and schools on time.
