Shimla, June 4 -- A 29-year-old Delhi resident has been arrested for running over and killing a 60-year-old local in Kasol, Kullu, police said. Police said the accused , identified as Vikrant Vij, of Delhi's Karol Bagh, dragged the victim, identified as Ram Krishan, for nearly 25 feet before reversing the vehicle and running over him again, killing him instantly on Monday. A case was registered at Patlikuhl police station on June 1 under Section 105 BNS (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and Section 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act (offences related to accidents), police said.
