India, April 29 -- The Delhi high court on Wednesday said it would pass orders protecting the personality rights of Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor by restraining various entities from using his name, image and identity without his consent.
A bench of justice Tushar Rao Gedela indicated that orders would be passed after hearing Kapoor's plea seeking protection of his personality rights. "Alright," the judge said during the proceedings.
The actor approached the court alleging that his persona was being commercially exploited through merchandise such as T-shirts and mugs carrying his image.
