New Delhi, July 8 -- The Delhi High Court on Tuesday ordered unblocking of the X account of the satirical online collective Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma passed the order after solicitor general Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, submitted that the account had been blocked when the NEET exam was scheduled, as millions of students were set to appear. Several posts could have created chaos amongst the students and parents. He informed the court that since the examination had concluded, the court could consider ordering the account's unblocking. The court accepted the submission, observing that the blocking order was "no longer relevant".
