India, Aug. 20 -- The Ghaziabad police on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old head constable with the Delhi Police on alleged charges of abetting the suicide of his 37-year-old woman colleague at a hotel room in Sahibabad on August 15, officials said.

The victim, a head constable with the Delhi police, was found hanging in a hotel room in Sahibabad on Sunday (August 16).

According to police, the victim had checked in alone around 7.15pm on August 15, and the suspect was seen entering the room at 10.03pm and exiting the room around 10.45pm on the same night.
