Delhi: Rain expected, max temp to remain under 40degC; air quality 'satisfactory'
India, June 2 -- Very light or light rain and thunderstorms and winds reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 50 kmph were expected in Delhi on Tuesday, even as the mercury is likely to continue rising with the maximum temperature set to reach 38degC to 40degC by Wednesday, and the air quality remained in the "satisfactory" category.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said rain is expected until Friday as part of pre-monsoon activities, which are normal throughout June.
