Deaf-blind class 12 student tops school
India, May 1 -- In 2014, Sarah Moin struggled to secure admission to schools in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow as many turned her away due to her severe hearing and vision impairment. In 2026, the Nazarbagh resident scored 98.7% in the ISC Class 12 examinations to emerge as the topper of Christ Church College. Sarah's scorecard features a perfect 100 in both Geography and Mass Media Communication, along with 98 in English, 97 in History, and 96 in Psychology. "Sarah wrote her exam with the help of a refreshable Braille display that is connected with a laptop keyboard," said Salman Ali Qazi, a special educator at Christ Church College.
