New Delhi, Sept. 17 -- Data released by the chief electoral officer (CEO) for Delhi on Wednesday showed that only 62,583 applications for inclusion in Delhi's electoral rolls have been received in the first 15 days of the claims and objections period under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The claims and objections period began on August 31 and will close on September 30. The draft electoral rolls published on August 31 had excluded around 4.75 million voters. Before publication of the draft rolls, Delhi had received 212,400 Form 6 applications.
