PUNE, Aug. 24 -- The 15-year-old daughter of Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar (NCP-SP) MLA Rohit Pawar's personal assistant was found dead near her residential building at Baramati in Pune district on Sunday, a day after she was reported missing, police said, adding that a probe is underway into the circumstances of her death. According to an officer, she left home on Saturday night after allegedly being scolded by her mother. When she did not return, her family searched for her and informed the police. At around 8.30 am on Sunday, she was found dead in a drain near her residence. Police sent the body for a post-mortem examination at Baramati Medical College, the officer said.
