India, March 30 -- The CTET certificate issued by CBSE is valid for seven years, during which qualified candidates can apply for teaching positions in central government schools. These include institutions such as Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and Army schools, where CTET qualification is often a key eligibility requirement.

In addition to central schools, many state government and private institutions also prefer candidates who have cleared CTET.
