Court pulls up NIA for failing to supply complete, legible documents to accused in Gurugram twin blast case
Panchkula, Aug. 23 -- A special NIA court has reprimanded the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for failing to provide clear, legible and complete copies of documents sought by Sachin Taliyan, one of the accused involved in the Gurugram twin blast case, observing that the agency failed to comply with its legal obligation under Section 230 of the BNSS.
The case dates back to December 10, 2024, when Taliyan and another accused, identified as Vijay, allegedly reached the Sector 29 market in Gurugram, where Taliyan threw two bombs at the clubs. The accused were booked under various sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Explosive Substances Act, the Arms Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
