Chandigarh, Aug. 14 -- A court on Thursday directed Facebook and Instagram to remove an allegedly AI-generated objectionable video featuring Punjab legislator Sukhpal Singh Khaira within 72 hours, after he approached the court alleging that the content was fabricated and defamatory.

Civil judge (junior division) Kaushal Kumar Yadav passed the interim order while hearing Khaira's plea seeking protection against the circulation of the video and other allegedly defamatory material.
