New Delhi, July 23 -- The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the states and Union territories to consider raising the age of superannuation of judicial officers from 60 to 61 years and state their stand within two weeks. The order came even as the apex court allowed judicial officers in states and UTs to continue in service till the age of 61 years, subject to agreement between the state government and the concerned high court and the final outcome of the proceedings.
