New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- The Delhi high court on Thursday said framing a nationwide policy to ban social media access for children below 13 was a matter for the Centre and not the courts, while directing the government to consider a petition seeking such restrictions as a representation. A bench of justices V Kameswar Rao and Manmeet P Arora was hearing a petition by Kirti Dua seeking guidelines and legislation to restrict social media access for children below 13 and regulate content for those aged 13 to 16.
