Cong: 'Samudra manthan' made to benefit adani
New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Congress on Monday alleged that the government's Rs.84,084 crore Samudra Manthan Scheme was designed to benefit the Adani-Welspun group, calling the scheme a "scam" and accusing the centre of favouring private businesses over public sector companies and MSMEs.
"From the government's Samudra Manthan scheme, the poison that emerges will go to the people's share, and the nectar that emerges will go to Adani's share," said Congress MP Shaktisinh Gohil.
