Chandigarh, Aug. 26 -- An expert committee set up by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) to examine Eleven Power Pvt. Ltd's petition for a parallel electricity distribution licence in Gurugram and Nuh districts has recommended that the licence be granted, subject to conditions. State-owned power distribution company Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) currently serves electricity consumers exclusively in the two districts. Eleven Power, a private company incorporated in 2025, has Sunil Sachdeva, co-founder of Medanta-The Medicity, a chain of multi-speciality hospitals, as its director.
