India, April 1 -- Prices of commercial LPG were hiked on Wednesday in a major development in India amid the ongoing West Asia conflict. The latest revision is driven by global energy supply disruptions.
Domestic cylinder prices, however, remain elevated following a recent hike earlier this month.
This is the second upward revision in commercial LPG rates in less than a month, adding to cost pressures for businesses such as hotels, restaurants and hostels.
The highest jump has been seen in the price of the widely used 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder. In Delhi, the rate has climbed by Rs.195.5 - from Rs.1,883 on March 7 to Rs.2,078.50 now - marking a 10.4% increase, earlier HT reported.
