LUCKNOW, April 2 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Singapore high commissioner to India Simon Wong on Thursday discussed strengthening cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Singapore in investment, skill development, infrastructure and cultural ties.

Wong, who was in Lucknow to meet the chief minister, described Adityanath's visit to Singapore in February as "highly successful", saying it also sent a positive message about Uttar Pradesh to industrial communities in neighbouring countries.

"The global industrial community now sees Uttar Pradesh as a centre of new opportunities and possibilities, which will play an important role in taking India-Singapore relations to greater heights," said Wong.
