India, Sept. 28 -- A months-old dispute between two schoolboys escalated into violence in Sakinaka on Saturday evening, when a 15-year-old Class 9 student was attacked with a cutter on the neck, by his 14-year-old classmate and the latter's 15-year-old friend.

The Sakinaka police have registered an FIR against the two minor boys for allegedly attempting to murder.

The attack took place on Jagannath Mandir Road around 7.30pm on September 26, shortly after the three teenagers had been involved in another altercation in the area. The victim suffered an injury to the right side of his neck and was taken for medical treatment.
