India, July 28 -- In a series of late-night posts, the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) informed supporters of big government assurances it received on the crackdown on protesters. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said that the outfit has been "guaranteed" by the government again that all FIRs against protesters will be withdrawn and no legal action will be taken against them in the future.

He was specifically referring to three states - Bihar, Assam and Rajasthan. "After Bihar and Assam notifications, we have just been guaranteed that no authority will proceed against protesters in Rajasthan," he said in a tweet, hours after flagging concerns over reports of detentions and arrests in various states.
