New Delhi/Bhopal, May 24 -- The Supreme Court is set to hear on Monday a suo motu case linked to the Madhya Pradesh dowry death case, amid allegations of institutional bias and lapses in the probe. A bench led by CJI Surya Kant will hear the matter, concerning the death of 32-year-old Twisha Sharma. The case was registered "based on media reports and other attending circumstances." a person aware of the matter said. Separately, a Bhopal court on Saturday remanded Sharma's husband, Samarth Singh, to seven days of police custody. P9
