Srinagar, Aug. 23 -- Two days after the Ladakh LG allowed the withdrawal of an FIR against 25 persons accused of September 24 violence last year, the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) has welcomed the Ladakh outreach and has sought the same compassion for Kashmiri youth.

AIP chief spokesperson Inam Un Nabi, while addressing a youth meeting at Gojwara in Shahr-e-Khaas Srinagar on Saturday, has welcomed the LG's decision, while making an appeal to the government of India to extend the same gesture to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
