Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- Links to the Lucky Patial gang have emerged in the murder of a 16-year-old boy who was shot dead outside the Sanatan Dharam Temple in Sector 22-B on Thursday night.

According to the police, the juvenile detained in the case had approached the gang to take down the victim with whom he had a long-standing rivalry.

The Lucky Patial gang had earlier claimed responsibility for a property dealer's murder in Sector 9. In this case too, the gang had been hired by a resident to settle scores with the victim.
