Centre examines proposals for super-speciality hospital and paramedical college in Uttarakhand
India, Aug. 28 -- The Centre has initiated departmental examination of two key proposals put forward by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to strengthen specialised healthcare and medical education in the state. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda has informed the Chief Minister that proposals for establishing a super-speciality hospital and a paramedical college under the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University have been forwarded for examination at the departmental level.
In a letter to Dhami, Nadda said the proposal for setting up the super-speciality hospital is being examined by the concerned department/division of the Union Health Ministry. The proposal for establishing a paramedic...
