Central govt appoints two NTA directors, joint director
India, Aug. 28 -- The Centre has appointed two officers as directors and another as joint director in the National Testing Agency (NTA), as it undertakes a sweeping overhaul of the country's examination system following the NEET-UG 2026 questions leak. According to separate orders issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday, Prasanna Venkatesh V, an IAS officer of the 2012 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, and Ravi Kumar Singh, an IPS officer of the 2012 batch of the AGMUT cadre, have been appointed as directors in the NTA.
