Hoshiarpur, Oct. 15 -- Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Mann said on Wednesday that the CBI and ED raids at his office were part of the tirade launched by the BJP and other opposition parties to tarnish his image. He said that such actions would persist in the coming months, aiming to defame him in the run-up to the state assembly elections.

Addressing a gathering at Harkhowal village in Chabbewal constituency, he said that he was not afraid of such raids as people of Punjab were with him.

"Their dream of coming to power will never become a reality," he said, adding that those who had always exploited people should never get a chance to rule.
