India, Aug. 9 -- A large portion of ceiling plaster inside a house at Paras Dews condominium in Sector 106 along the Dwarka Expressway collapsed on Friday evening, locals said. However, no injuries were reported.

Residents told HT the incident was not isolated and alleged that similar incidents had took place at the society in the past, including several in 2024, raising concerns over the safety and structural upkeep of high-rise buildings.

Anam Khaliq, whose ceiling's plaster collapsed, said she was in the living room and was just two feet away when the plaster fell. "It was a narrow escape.
